Pillow Case Skirt?
Haha yeah the title sounds pretty random if you don’t end up reading my short story to it.
As I am typing, I am listening/watching the show What Not To Wear. The show is airs on TLC and is a show that helps teach people how to dress appropriately. Well today was their 250th episode so they found someone who had the worst possible wardrobe they’ve ever seen so far. So yeah, this lady’s is pretty bad. She takes pillow cases and uses them as skirts! Like in past episodes, the people would wear like clothes that were either too reveling, mens clothes, or just too baggy for them. This lady wears pillow cases. That’s pretty bad. I mean, like she literally took the pillow case and just cut the end and made a skirt out of it. At least in the end, the lady will learn to shop right and not have to make anymore pillow case clothes XD.
This week was pretty lazy. I mean, I don’t want to get into the whole thing. Except for social studies, since it’s pretty odd. Midterms were pretty easy. I did well on them.
So during Social Studies we were taking midterms Thursday and Friday [today]. So here are some of the odd things that happened. Just before I continue, I just want to give you a 411 on stuff about my school. Well we have 9 classes that we attend everyday. Each class is 40 minutes long.
Social Studies 8th period on Thursday. We go in, she makes us line up outside and she is individually placing everyone in seats because we have to be spread out for the midterms. We’re not allowed to get up once we get to our seat. So we sit down, and she’s like “DO NOT TALK THIS IS IMPORTANT.” So we are silent. Then she asks if any of us need a pencil or if we need to sharpen our pencils. Okay so those who need to sharpen their pencils raise their hands, then my teacher goes “Okay no ones allowed to sharpen their pencils” So then she gave us pencils and we started. Then she said “No questions until 5 minutes after the period, I have to do some business first.” So then we took the test. Then my friend raised their hand to spit out their gum and my teacher goes “Okay,, now just cause you kept raising your hand, no questions until 5 before the period ends.” We’re like WOW. How can you do that during a midterm? Not let us ask any questions and the fact that we didn’t learn a whole unit that was on the midterm. So then when she did answer questions, she was like “Run, Run HURRY UP,” She was soo annoying. There is so much more, but I should end this soon.

Yeah, I think people should be more considerate. It is also summer here so that’s why I had the open toed shoes hahaha.
They always say to respect your elders but sometimes I find them rather rude.
Ooh, Twilight. I can’t believe her mum just threw it out though. That’s unbelievable… very strict parents there. I mean I’d understand the rest of the series because they have mature scenes, but eep!
I have heard about What Not To Wear. I personally think the ladies are snobs though, the way they think. LOL. No offense to anyone who likes them but I don’t really.
I think it is definitely weird to wear a pillowcase though. Some things get trendy, but wearing a pillowcase skirt is definitely not. Did she run out of clothes or something? It sounds like she was desperate!
What I keep thinking about in your exam is what if someone wanted to go to the toilet, or it was an emergency? Of course they would need to ask a question. Some teachers are too strict, too angry.
Your classes seem pretty short; in high school ours were about an hour long. And we only had about 6 classes a day. They changed it from 40 minutes because 40 minutes was too short.
I know you shouldn’t talk in an exam, but you can’t totally restrict from asking questions when they could be about the test.

I have not heard about What Not To Wear. wow can not believe that a lady used pillowcases to get a skirt, it’s pathetic and unoriginal. That woman must be desperate, because if she does that?

Ahaha sometimes when someone steps on my foot and they don’t notice, I just tell them, “hey you’re stepping on my foot”. And then they’re in shock and say “oh! SORRY!” With a look of D: on their face. Hehe.

Pillowcase? Geeze! Talk about fashion crisis! lol. But it’s a cool idea I guess too. In fashion class, my friend was telling me that they use “found” materials to make things. One project was to make clothing out of candy wrappers! Hey, it’s economical for sure!

Ugh, I hated midterm times. Thank god my anxiety wasn’t as bad as it is now, but I think the midterm rules are HORRIBLE. No talking, fine. But during those times, you aren’t even allowed to go to the bathroom and I mean, come on. Once in awhile someones just GOT to go. And it’s not like you can get up and walk out because I’m pretty sure they’ll fail you for it. Just.. horrible. Some things need to be changed for those! Hmm I good tip for making pancakes that I didn’t think of! I will make smaller pancakes next time, with batter not as thick. It will at least cook faster, and be least likely to burn. That is, If I keep watch on the pancakes. xD
